Dr. Kyungjun Lee
Dr. Kyungjun Lee is an accomplished physical therapist deeply dedicated to his work. After studying physical therapy at Korea University and specializing in spinal stabilization techniques and myofascial release methods during his graduate studies in rehabilitation science, he expanded his expertise at the Osteopath Institute in Seoul, mastering craniosacral technique and visceral manipulation.
With a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Touro College in New York, Dr. Kyungjun gained invaluable clinical insights. He continues to enhance his skills through ongoing education at the Barral Institute, focusing on advanced visceral & neural manipulation.
Dr. Kyungjun believes in a comprehensive approach, recognizing that dysfunction in visceral organs can often manifest as musculoskeletal issues like neck or lower back pain and headaches. He is dedicated to understanding the root causes of his patients’ concerns and aims to address the areas they may have overlooked, providing holistic care for their overall health and movement.
Dr. Kyungjun is an active member of the International Association of Healthcare Practitioners (IAHP). He is fluent in Korean, and English helping to make him culturally attuned to patients from various backgrounds. Dr. Jimmy Liao
Dr. Jimmy Liao is a compassionate and dedicated physical therapist based in New York. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Touro College in New York and his Master of Science in Health and Rehabilitation Science with a concentration in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. Before that, he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy in Taiwan. He has extensive experience working in hospitals, outpatient clinics, sports teams, private practice settings, and with professional baseball players. Jimmy is passionate about orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. He specializes in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and movement optimization for a diverse patient population. His treatment approach focuses not only on relieving pain but also on identifying and addressing the underlying causes of injury to improve long-term function and performance. He has experience treating athletes of all levels, including runners, soccer players, and baseball players.
Jimmy emphasizes a hands-on treatment approach combined with therapeutic and corrective exercises to maximize patient recovery and performance. To further enhance his clinical expertise, Jimmy has completed extensive continuing education in areas including Postural Restoration Institute (PRI), fascia manipulation, joint mobilization and manipulation, and scar therapy. He continually integrates advanced clinical knowledge and evidence-based practice to help patients return to their prior level of function and maintain an active lifestyle. Jonathan Locitzer
Dr. Jonathan Locitzer received his Clinical Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2007 from Columbia University, graduating with honors. He received the Excellence in Adult Orthopedics Award for the Class of 2007. After graduating, Jonathan continued his pursuit in orthopedics and manual therapy with over 500 contact hours of continuing education classes. Classes included myofascial release, joint mobilization (spine/extremity), craniosacral therapy, manipulative therapy, peripheral nerve mobilization and various other evaluative and therapy techniques.
In 2011, Jonathan began working at Integrate NYC Physical Therapy where he was exposed to Eastern Medicine, collaborating with Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners. As a former partner at Integrate NYC, Jonathan worked to create a true holistic approach to physical therapy combining the best of both western and eastern medicine philosophies. Jonathan uses elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine such as Qi Gong, Tui Na (traditional Chinese massage), cupping and external application of herbs, poultices and liniments. He further enhanced his PT knowledge by becoming a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT) in 2021 with honors, attaining this certification from the prestigious Institute of Physical Art in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Dr. Jael McCants
Dr. Jael McCants is a New York State licensed physical therapist with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York University. Her practice emphasizes the use of functional manual therapy to reduce pain and restore movement efficiency. Jael’s approach is endlessly inspired by the Institute of Physical Art where she has received advanced training in manual therapy. In addition to her work as a manual therapist, Jael is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association with experience in biomechanics and exercise progression, making sure to keep movers feeling strong and powerful throughout the rehabilitation process.
Jael is an empathy driven practitioner, constantly exploring the ways our social identities matter in therapeutic alliance, patient safety, and beyond. As a queer black woman, she is passionate about the healing of folks commonly discriminated against in healthcare settings and is committed to health equity for people of color, the lgbtqia+ community, and the hyper marginalized. Alongside her work as a physical therapist, Jael teaches courses related to diversity, equity, and inclusion for health professionals and student physical therapists. Jael received her Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College where she studied biology and modern dance, a combination that piqued her interest in the physical therapy profession. Before physical therapy school, she spent several years working in the music industry and now misses the free concert tickets. Jael is originally from Madison, Wisconsin and has called Brooklyn home for more than 10 years. She is one of seven kids, a twin, and a Capricorn. Dr. Alanna Trophelov
Dr. Alanna Trophelov earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University after completing her BA in Psychology and Education at UC Santa Cruz. Her journey into physical therapy began through her work as a certified Pilates instructor, where she discovered the powerful role of movement quality and control in both injury prevention and recovery.
In her current practice, Alanna emphasizes functional movement and neuromuscular re-education, utilizing manual therapy techniques informed by advanced training through the Institute of Physical Art. Known for her ability to connect deeply with patients, she takes a holistic approach to identifying the root causes of movement limitations, helping individuals return to their daily activities as efficiently as possible.
Dedicated to continued growth, Alanna has advanced training in pelvic floor health thru the prestigious Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitative Institute. Originally from California, she has lived on the East Coast since 2011 and currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband and young daughter.
